Crytek continues to spend time and money improving Crysis Wars, their standalone multiplayer .exe: It's almost time for another patch, we've included some fixes that should really improve stability and remove the known exploits, there is also various updates which will be noticible in-game and improve game balance. In addition to this we also have a new map release! Ruins is set in a church ruins environment where players are able to do combat both inside and outside the ruins. More information will be released in the future but for now we have four new screenshots available for you. Discus here |

We’re pleased to be able to invite you to the Crysis Wars trial week taking place from Thursday the 9th of April to Friday, 17th of April!  All you need to do is be a registered member of MyCrysis in order to receive all the information you'll need to take part, you can sign up through out the week however the sooner you do so the sooner you can start playing!

You will be able to download the complete Crysis Wars game, and install it on your computer for free. From then on, you will be able to play on LAN with your friends, without any time limitation. This is the best opportunity to check the gameplay, adjust the settings to your fitting (from best performance to best visuals), and train with your friends on LAN, in preparation for the online week. You will not be able to connect online during this time. This Thursday 9th April, starting at 9pm CET, MyCrysis members will receive a browser message confirming that they can claim their Free Trial CD-Key. You'll get full access to both LAN and Online play and you can now even use the editor with the trial client, for free! Crysis developer, Crytek, thinks that streaming games could be viable by around 2013 or so: High-speed connections have yet to be cheap or reliable enough to work, in Crytek's estimation: the company determined that a streaming service may be possible sometime between 2013 and 2015. This is also the approximate period in which most consumer PCs will begin to be able to run Crysis. Yerli said that such services must rely strongly on broadband providers. "We're not involved [with OnLive], we just allowed Crysis to be tested on it," Yerli said. Publisher EA is behind the addition of Crysis Warhead to the service.
